During my time as NAIC President and as Wisconsin's Commissioner of Insurance, I worked tirelessly at the state, national and international level advocating for and working on common sense public policy solutions to assure company solvency and meet changing consumer demands.

Internationally, represented US Insurance Regulators:

• Led nearly 20 bilateral discussions with countries around the globe.

• Frequent international speaker on Covered Agreement, Consumer Protection and Innovation & Technology.

• Member of the International Association of Insurance Supervisors (IAIS) including Executive and Audit Committees.

Nationally, led the focus on innovation and technology with insurance regulation:

• Created NAIC Innovation and Technology Taskforce.

• Operationalized US/EU Covered Agreement.

• Managed the development of the first NAIC Strategic Plan in over a decade.

• Testified before Congress.

• Created first-ever Cybersecurity Conference hosted with Stanford University.

• Led the NAIC's focus on governance review and board education.

• Worked closely with federal agencies on insurance related issues.

• NAIC President and other leadership roles including Executive and Audit Committee.

In Wisconsin, focused on a competitive marketplace while reforming operations during a turbulent time in the insurance industry:

• Operationalized the Affordable Care Act.

• Successful rehabilitation of AMBAC insurance company.

• Established a regulatory sandbox framework for companies interested in pursuing innovation.

• Oversaw complicated mergers and acquisitions.

• Reformed agency for changing regulatory demands.

• NAIC full accreditations 2013 and 2018.
